The Unipower APM380 is an electronic measurement transducer designed to measure power in kilowatts (kW) on three-phased asymmetric loads, even after frequency inverters. It is suitable for mains voltages ranging from 3x230V to 3x575V and can measure currents up to 80A internally. The APM380 features 0(4)-20mA and 0(2)-10V analogue outputs, a programmable filter function, and a kWh impulse output. It also provides galvanic isolation between the mains net and I/O, including 24V.
The APM380 is not powered by the measuring voltage but by a 24Vdc supply. It includes a specially developed circuit for power measurement, capable of handling voltage and current signals from frequency inverters. The unit contains a four-step programmable analogue filter and integrates both voltage and current outputs configurable via input (S1) as 0-20mA (0-10V) or 4-20mA (2-10V). The APM380 also has six digital inputs and four LED indicators for various statuses.
