Getting Started with the WECON V-Box

1. Network Configuration

• Connect the V-BOX to your PC via USB or LAN [00:00:26].
• Open the V-BOX software and pick a network mode [00:00:31]:
  • Ethernet: DHCP or static IP [00:00:53].
  • Wi-Fi: Enter SSID and password [00:01:06].
  • 4G: Insert a supported SIM card [00:01:19].

2. Download Settings and Get Device ID

• Set a secure device access password [00:01:36].
• Download the configuration; the V-BOX reboots automatically [00:02:02, 00:02:15].
• After it connects to the server, read the unique Machine ID from the software [00:02:31].

3. Add the V-BOX to Your Account

• Log in to your V-BOX account [00:04:05].
• Click Add Device and provide:
  1. A clear device name.
  2. The Machine ID / serial number [00:02:39].
  3. The device access password you set earlier [00:02:49].
• Check status: green icon = online; grey = offline [00:04:41].
